Hello all,

So this is the weekly free sewing workshop.
I hope to see some familiar faces out tonight. I know it`s been a long and busy winter. But take some time out to do something for you.
Come learn a few skills and enjoy the company.
Bring a project you are working on, some buttons that need sewing or start a new project when you arrive.
This workshop is in my sewing studio/boutique located at the Red Bird Studios. At 135 Van Horne Studio 242.

Stitch it up! Is a free workshop at my sewing studio in Mile End. The aim of this weekly workshop is to encourage you to create, rework or mend your own clothing.

This is your chance to learn how to sew or to put into practice what you already know. Maybe you have some tricks of the trade that you can share with the other attendees. All skill levels are welcome.

About me. My name is Rebecca. I have been sewing for about 10 years and have and received my D.E.C. (Diplôme d'études collégiales) from L’École des métiers des Faubourgs (http://www2.csdm.qc.ca/Faubourgs/home.html) in 2008 for Pattern Design.

I am a co-ower and clothing designer at Arterie Boutique & Friperie. (http://arterieboutique.blogspot.com/)
I have been living and working in Montreal since 2003.

Hello and Happy New Year!

Welcome to the 4th Open-Studio-Wednesdays mending workshop - January 6th 6:30pm to 9:30 pm @ Red Bird Studio, 135 Van Horne, Studio 242

This is a free workshop that I offer to encourage and teach people to fix or mend the clothing in their wardrobe . I have all the tools you need at my sewing studio. All you need to do is bring your project and a little determination.

Maybe bring a little snack to share.

oh my god i just got it, just this second....... a stitch in time saves 9. they are talking about that blasted thread in my sweater.......once it was a tiny little rip and now well, it's a gaping hole. don't let this happen to you! come to Open Studio Wednesday skill share..... December 9th 6:30pm to 10pm. studio 242, Red Bird, 135 Van Horne
